![]() ![]() Unless competition between Microsoft and Sony in the gaming space ends and/or some kind of partnership were to happen, the only way you will be able to play The Last of Us 2 is to play on PS4 or possibly on the PS5, if the game gets a remaster or port (this is highly probable). While there might be many non-PS4 owners looking to get their hands on The Last of Us 2, the chances of a PC port of the game coming at all are quite slim. Sony doesn't really have a track record for porting games to PC or other consoles, and they have managed to keep their games off of PC outside of console emulation. Microsoft owns both Xbox and the Windows OS, commonly used for PC gaming, so a PC port of such games isn't exactly unsurprising. While there are examples of Console Exclusive Games, such as the Xbox exclusive Halo and Gears of War series coming to PC recently, this is more of an exception rather than the rule. Meaning: If Sony doesn't own it, it's not coming out there. Sony is very unlikely to release games made by any of their studios outside of their ecosystem. From our preview time with The Last of Us Part 2, we learned a lot of details, large and small, about how the sequel evolves the original game. The development studio working on the upcoming Last of Us Sequel, The Last Of Us 2, is a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment. The Last of Us 2 and The Last of Us series are exclusive to the Sony Console platform. The Short answer to this question would be a NO. Will The Last of Us 2 Come to PC and Xbox?
